Dr. Lawson received his Ph.D. in Statistics in 1984 at the Polytechnic
Institute in New York. He recieved two M.S. Degrees in Statistics, one
at Rutgers University in 1978, and the other at Brigham Young University
in 1971. His B.S. was in Statistics in 1969. Dr. Lawson has taught here
at BYU since 1986. He most often teaches Stat 361-Quality Improvement
for Industry, Stat 466 - Introduction to Reliability, and Stat 631 - Advanced
Experiemental Design. Dr. Lawson is the Faculty Advisor for the B.Y.U Student Section of the American Society for Quality (ASQ), and he is the Advisor for the Quality Science emphasis undergraduate majors. This page was last updated on 09/05/02 . |
